Personnel: Lindsey Buckingham - guitar, vocals :: Stevie Nicks - vocals :: Christine McVie - keyboard, vocals :: John McVie - bass :: Mick Fleetwood - drums.
Notes: I couldn't believe that a 1977 soundboard exists, but this seems to be the genuine article. The quality is excellent, although it seems to be a mixing desk recording and suffers from the flat feeling caused by the lack of audience response. <-(Info taken from cds.jrd.org.uk) .

07. Any Colour You Like
08. Brain Damage
09. Eclipse
10. Wish You Were Here
11. Comfortably Numb
12. Run Like Hell
Notes: Quality is very good (sometimes lots of applause, but not irritating) and the performance is better than 7-17. Lots of different solos, endings etc. The effects at the end of HH, TIB, KT, ABITW2, etc. are much more extended, especially KT. DSOTM starts out a little loud but quiets down and has a great version of Great Gig and Us and Them. Also Brain Damage/Eclipse are great! Overall, a much better RoIO than Miami, performance-wise. One of the best 94-performances I've heard. -PIET ---- This CD was originally issued by an outfit who called themselves "KTS of Australia." Perhaps unsurprisingly, the original KTS in Italy, who are entirely unaffiliated with the Aussie company, objected to the appropriation of their moniker. So the erstwhile KTS of Oz have now renamed themselves "Kiwi Records" (although since this implies NZ....well, it's an ROIO co. innit?) and this CD is their reissue of the original "KTS of Oz" release, complete with new label name, etc. <-(Info taken from pf-roio.de).

** Rolling Stones American Tour 1981 **
Personnel: Mick Jagger – lead vocals, harmonica :: Keith Richards – guitars, vocals :: Charlie Watts – drums :: Ronnie Wood – guitars, backing vocals :: Bill Wyman – bass .
Notes: Another notable performance during the tour was the 14 December performance at Kansas City's Kemper Arena. Previous Stones lead guitarist Mick Taylor joined the band for a large part of the performance.[10] Ronnie Wood was not happy with the Taylor's appearance, however: "[He was] bulldozing through parts of songs that should have been subtle, ignoring breaks and taking uninvited solos."[6].<-(Info taken from wikipedia.org).

*** Killer's World Tour ***
Personnel: P. Di'Anno :: S. Harris :: D. Murray :: A. Smith :: C. Burr.
Notes: In February of 1981 Iron Maiden launched the “Killer’s World Tour” in support of the “Killers” album. During this period Adrian Smith was added to the band on lead and rhythm guitar replacing Dennis Stratton. This release is sourced from the 97 WLPX radio broadcast of their first United States tour. Some sites have this show listed as being played on June 22 instead of the 26th. This is an excellent concert with Paul Di’Anno upfront in the mix. Sadly because of substance abuse he would be fired during this tour and replaced by Bruce Dickinson who performed his first Maiden show on October 26th 1981 at the Palasport in Bolonga, Italy. What we have here is one of his last concerts and from the sounds of the band and audience a very impressive one. <-(Info taken from collectorsmusicreviews.com) .

** StormWatch Tour **
Personnel: Ian Anderson :: Martin Barre :: Dave Pegg :: Mark Craney :: Eddie Jobson.
Notes: Can't say enough about this one!! The quality is the best of any FM source I have knowledge of. This was a great tour with the introduction of Dave Pegg, bringing with him instrumentals and material from "Fairport Convention"--and later other Fairport members would play in the "tull' line up as well/this tour sadly ended an era, as after the tour John Evan, Barriemore Barlow, and David Palmer leave "Jethro Tull"/many people feel that "Jethro Tull" died with the 70's, but I feel many great things have happened, and many talented musicians have stepped up to the bat. <-(Info taken from farmonthehighway.homestead.com/main.html) ----- From the CD boot "WATCHERS ON THE STORM". Originally the boot also included 2 acoustic performance from Ian and Martin on the Howard Stern show (11-14-91 & 11-17-87). Those are not included here. If there is interest I'll seed those later. <-(from original info file).

Notes: When Page/Plant were going to rehearse together with White/Squire for a new band, the UK music press was ignoring the news. After all, Zep and Yes where regarded then, in the New Wave time of the early eighties, as a dinosaurs from a bygone era. American Creem magazine was much happier, and ran a spread on the new band named XYZ (for Ex-Yes-Zeppelin). The rehearsals went for a week or so (note that already then they have forgotten JPJ phone number) before calling it off. About 15 years or so after, when these recordings first saw thheght of day on this CD - fans were happy to point out the great riff of Mind Drive - surely one of Page's genious riffs? Well... not exactly. Yes Keys to Ascention came out in 1997, and Mind Drive was there to prove that this was a pieace of music that was brought to XYZ by Chris Squire :-). <-(from original info file).

Notes: After leaving Scorpions for a second time, Michael Schenker wanted to start his solo career. He assembled a superb lineup. Gary Barden (vocals), Michael Schenker (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass), Denny Carmassi (drums) [Montrose & Sammy Hagar Band]. They recorded some demos, but finally, they split, so Schenker and Barden recorded their first album with famed sessionmen (Mo Foster, Don Airey and Simon Phillips).

Notes: Disc One (Review from Rolling Stones FAQ): "Above average audience tape but not great by modern standards. Very good performance before a wildly enthusiastic crowd. Parts of the concert are also available on LPs in varying quality. This Japanese CD is the best release yet of this concert and surpasses all previous LPs and CDs." Disc Two(Review from Rolling Stones FAQ): "The only 1970 soundboard recording to date, and a primitive one at that which surfaced in 1993. It's another fine 1970 show with a long "Brown Sugar" and hot "Sympathy." This Japanese CD is the best release yet of this concert and surpasses all previous CDs. For some reason it's missing the last two (inferior quality) songs from a radio broadcast which were on an earlier CD, also from VGP." <-(from original info file).
