Drop resistance is important for me. A drop will happen eventually onto a hard surface, I want to make sure it does not affect my phone at all.
It would need to be sleek though and not too thick.
How is the otterbox commuter?
This is IMO but I think the best combo of thinness and drop protection would be the Speck Pixelskin HD. I would've recommended an Incase Slider but the entire case is thin but it is hard plastic which would either break your iPhones glass or just completely knick up the case.
Since the Pixelskin HD is TPU, it remains thin and it's a nice material for drops and it would absorb the shock MUCH better. And the drop won't show up on the case since it's so solid. So you won't have to ever replace it with a new one.
If I had to throw ALL my cases away and only pick one--just for aesthetics, protection ane thinness--I'd keep the Pixelskin HD.
%IMG_DESC_8%FYI thread starter since you seemed to get irritated that you didn't get your answer after 31 minutes. I would suggest google and searching when asking common questions. you can get your answer in seconds rather then minutes or sometimes hours.

Personally, I'd wait and see on this before putting down this much money. I expect that AT&T can track down and relock phones unlocked through this method. And, if they do, it probably won't take them that lock.
Second: while the seller claims they will refund your money, I wouldn't place a lot of faith in this if your phone gets relocked after a period of time. While Negri Electronics doesn't appear to be a scammer, some of the complaints about their customer service definitely would make me cautious about doing business with them - esp. in a case where I might be needing to get a refund from them months down the road. See reviews here (http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Negri_Electronics).
%IMG_DESC_10%^to the above posts, thanks for the offers but I really don't care for celeron too much either, and the T61 would be way over my budget.
Thanks for all of the replys & PMs, I have found a Powerbook g4 from a forum member and I purchased an IBM T40 on ebay.

Ipad 2? The switch on the side- go to settings and change it from orientation lock to mute...
iPad 1 - just use the mute switch?
%IMG_DESC_15%I had this feature in Chrome last month but it has vanished.
Stupid dev version. Was pretty handy though.

.... and the person is also asking for Bank Transfer only. Reasonable i guess (most other methods involve cost to buyer or seller) as long as the seller does not say 'Western Union' then it seems to be a pretty good deal.....
looks like a typical scam set-up........that's over $4000 of "New" computer and display they have listed so that current bid falls into the "too good to be true" catagory
and No......bank transfers aren't safer than Western Union........it just means that the scammer has opened opened a bank account somewhere which is easy to do.....wiring money to that account gives you no protection if it's a scam

Upgrading RAM is quite easy. I don't know about PNY branded RAM, but I have heard good things of Crucial and Kingston RAM, I myself use CnMemory RAM in my 2009 MBP.

%IMG_DESC_19%The Microsoft phone will follow this death shortly. They really just need to abandon the hardware endeavor completely and use those resources to create a solid and stable operating system. Funny how Microsoft side barred into all of these other areas, yet their main source of revenue, Windows, is still a steamy pile.
Uh, Microsoft doesn't make any phones. They already do exactly what you described - make a great phone OS for other manufacturers to use. HTC, Samsung, LG have released phones using it so far and Nokia are planning new devices using it soon.
Download TinyUmbrella (Google it), then try to get your SHSH blobs (Google them), if you can't get your 4.1 blobs then there is no way to get on to that version.

I'm not saying that this is what Apple will be doing, but for me, the whole point of resolution independance is to decouple font sizing from the sizing of lines and other graphics. Typically, people want to be able to make text larger, so that they can more easily read information. But they don't necessarily want all of the window borders to get thicker, or the icons to get larger, etc. So, simply zooming in on everything is not ideal. Plus, they don't want the font glyphs (lines that make up letters) to be scaled up, and made blocky, but rather to be precise and sharp, but bigger.
So, I can envision that there'd be two sliders to control things, one for the font sizing, and one for the other graphics primitives. Well, technically there's still the slider in the Finder for icon sizing as well. The sliders could cover any value range, continuously, and also have special spots. For example, there'd be the spot where one unit would be one pixel, and maybe even multiples of that. And on the font slider, there'd be the spot corresponding to "reality", where if you typed a letter in size 12 Times New Roman, and printed it out, and held that paper besides your screen, the letters on screen would be the same size as the letters on the paper, according to your eyes and a ruler.
I have a 2006 mini I use as an HTPC, the fan is louder than I'd like it to be but it's running at a normal RPM so there's not much I can do about it. My sister has a 2010 mini and I noticed it's much quieter than mine, nearly silent. So I was wondering if anyone knows if the fan model used in the 2010 would work in a 2006?
- I added "# 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com" to my hosts file.
Even if you did have the SHSH blobs stored on Saurik's server, the line you added to your hosts file is not going to do you any good as long as that '#' character is at the front. Remove that. It's a comment character...it makes the DNS resolver IGNORE THAT LINE. With # in front of it, it's as if that line wasn't even there.
Whatever site you copied that from that contains the # in front of it is in error.
