Not saying its fake or anything... I have seen alot of people swearing at him, causing so much fued on his youtube and facebook account...
Its so true why would he faking it and using his both social network accounts.
But I didnt understand why doesnt he release just *unstable* version to show those people who doubt about it..... Release it let them see in the face that its real....

well i can think of one thing to do but its pretty improvised... set the home button to "take screenshot" and use a tweak to take out the flash. too bad there isn't a "do nothing" option for the home button as that would make it much easier...

I was able to get an image displayed based on a bitmap my program computed. The code looked something like this (paraphrasing)...

There is some cool technology/dreaming being shown there..... but, I am Not going to use any technology to check my work schedule while I'm brushing my teeth. My work day does not start until I'm done with my morning, um, ablutions - I don't care how important the meeting or cool the technology.
I like the idea of putting your smart phone down to activate the table top displays. It bypasses the insecurity of having a room full of people watch you type your credentials. It also defines the initial area of display. If the default setting (perhaps set in the phone?) is, for eg, that the phone defines the top right corner then both the table top display know what the other wants.
I wouldn't want to read a book on something with the weight of a few sheets of paper. Too shaky (hand-shake). A book's weight uses inertia to absorb these very minor tremors. They may be minor, but they are fatiguing if you are trying to hold a page up for extended reading.

It's been interesting to see how many disparate markets have been turned upside-down by the iPhone and iPhone-like smartphones. Camcorders (the Flip line, 80% of the market a couple years ago, was shuttered yesterday), digital still cameras, portable gaming devices, music players, netbooks, and on and on.

Follow-up question: OWC or TransIntl? I've been very happy with OWC in the past, but TransIntl is 15% cheaper and gets good reviews in this forum.
OWC have heat spreaders and TransIntl does NOT (I can speak for the 8GB sticks only)

I was in 6th grade, about 3 days into the school year. I had just started in a new school, a nice Catholic school. I think we were in either 1st period history or 2nd period science when the first hit. We had library 3rd period I think, which was one of just a few TV's in the school with cable. When we were entering the librarian had the TV on and we could see the burning buildings. But being young, I know I didn't think much of it. After that we ate lunch and I was outside on a field playing some game of ball with some of my new friends. The lunch aides were walking around asking for me because my Mom sent my Dad to pick me up because they didn't know what would happen and I think my Dad was let out of work early (he works in government), while my Mom was still in school. The aide had got the call for me on her walkie talkie. When she was walking me to the office she said something like 'a lot of people are leaving because of what happened', but I didn't know what she was talking about. When my Dad and I met up in the office and were walking back to my class to get my books, he explained to me what happened. He then got to meet my history teacher while I was packing up.
Once we got home we filled up the bathtub with water for drinking or bathing, just in case. We didn't know what was going to happen. Any idea on store opening times and when's the best time to que up. Going to one of the stores in Middlesbrough, Stockton or Darlington.
I think I said it in the "Newcastle, UK" thread but I've been to the three previous iPhone launches at Darlington's O2 store and there's never been a queue before 8.30 for a 9am opening.
I can't vouch for the other two but Darlo might be an easy place to get a 4 :)

I would like to use it with time machine but is it also possible to use it for my windows 7 partition too? Any external hard drive will work with PCs or Macs, as long as the connectors are there (Firewire, USB, etc.) It doesn't matter how the drive is formatted out of the box, since you can re-format any way you like. Yes, you can partition and format the drive with Disk Utility, to accommodate both a Windows 7 partition and a HFS+ partition.

i had the choice but opted for a 4G 30GB instead. i had a 3G 10GB that had been full for most of the time i had it (had it for just over a year).I thought the 20GB'd be too small but didn't want to fill the cavern of the 60GB--figured that by the time i filled it with music i'd actually wanna listen to (instead of just all my cd's--even ones that i haven't listened to since I bought 'em), i'd be ready to upgrade/move on to something else. so I bought the 30GB on sale from the apple store online-- reminds me: i need to send in my rebate form...
the 60 would be good to backup files on your computer, but for music only it was too big for me.

thanks for the feedback. I like the over exposure and most of it was intentional. but to each their own. :p
I would have recommended stopping up so that your whites weren't completely blown out and then color correcting as far as the first video goes.

the movie review ones are pretty good, i really like the flixter app and the imdb, not many good free games, another good new up and coming is live profile.
